Bright Switch
The tone stack is a switch on the front of the amplifier that changes the frequency content of the resulting outputted signal. As you can see if Figure 1, it only has an on and off state.

The bright switch can be treated as a transfer function that is either applied when the switch is on or not if it is off, so we will use the data gathered below in figure 2 to next determine a transfer function for this switch.

We applied the same meathodoligy to measure and effect the bright switch as we did for the tone knobs (reference tone knobs page). If the user slects bright switch on the difference frequency is added to the master filter of the tone knobs. Similarly the bright switch gane adjustment underwent a smoothing filter to remove the off peaks pickd up from the inacuries of the amplifier (seen in figure 3).

As stated in the tone stack page, we ended up using an estimated version of what we saw here for the output in our amp simulation. Below is a comparison of the different outputs we received with the switch on.
